The Free Application for Federal Student Aid is a great way to help your child reach their post-secondary education goals. At one time filling out this form was a long, tedious process. However, it has been streamlined into three easy steps. All you have to do is click on the link above and follow the steps in order. Almost all students are eligible for some form of federal student aid including scholarships, grants, and student loans.
Tuition Incentive Program - (TIP) This program provides tuition assistance for the first two years of college and beyond. To meet the financial elegibility requirement, a student must have (or have had) Medicaid coverage for 24 months within a 36-consecutive month period as identified by the Michigan Department of Human Services. Children of Veterans Tuition Grant - Student must be the natural child or adopted child of a Michigan veteran. Step-children of the veteran are not elegible. Veteran must be deceased or permanently disabled. for more information visit www.michigan.gov/osg or call 1-888-447-2687
